LINCCWeb Persistent URL/Link Guide

To create a persistent link:
  1. Enter your link into the "Persistent Link" text field.
  2. Click "Generate Link" to create the persistent link.
  3. Click "Test Link" to verify that the URL you entered works correctly. (Log in may be required.)


The following LINCCWeb databases currently support persistent linking. Click on any database below for location of information needed for persistent link creation. If you need to create a persistent link to a database not listed, contact the CCLA Service Desk.)

Go to the citation page for the article and find the field labeled "Persistent link to the record." Back

Click the "InfoMark" link at the top of the page to open a window containing the persistent URL Back

Towards the bottom of the page, find the label "Source Citation." The persistent URL is at the end of the citation. Back

Click the "Bookmark" link on the right side of the page. This link opens a window containing the persistent URL. Back

After selecting one or more images, click "Share," then click "Generate image URL."
This will open message box with the persistent URL.

Find the text "To bookmark this article" towards the bottom of the page.
The link underneath contains the persistent URL.
  • Internet Explorer users, right click on the link, then select "Copy Shortcut."
  • Firefox users, right click on the link, then select "Copy Link Location" or use the text directly below the link.
  • Mac users, Control click on the link, then select "Copy link."
